What a colorful event! Flowers lined up th entrance to our new office at Toa Payoh. Many guests from other companies were also invited.
After the lion dance, guests were treated to a buffet dinner. Every year, we would play "Bingo"! Our humorous agents would now and then shout, "Huat ah! (Prosper ah!)
Bingo is fun when we have many players!
At 4p.m. sharp, we had our "lo hei". Lo Hei is a special dish of salad with fresh salmon and addition of grounded peanuts, crispy crackers and honey and everyone would toss. It is believed that the higher we toss, the more luck we will attract!
The Mahjong King was proclaimed with his award and gift prize of over a thousand dollars! Shortly afterwards, Dr. Wee gave all the agents present an angpow with two big oranges.
What a happy day of celebration! Dr. Wee encouraged us to press on, and as this is the year of the bull, we have to work hard and be realistic and soon, the bull will turn around with a bullish roar.!
